Children need extra help in taking medications. And those helping children need help too! Children may need medications for simple problems such as ear infections, strep throat, or asthma. Some children also have complex medical problems, including seizures, heart problems, diabetes, and cancer. This can mean sending medications to day-care, school, or grandma's house. NexDose® goes with your child, and grows with your child, and makes sure that whoever is caring for them knows which medication to give when. Medications can be given simple names in NexDose® that even your child will understand (like "blue pill" or "yellow inhaler"), encouraging them to begin managing their own health as they mature. NexDose® can even store contact information that can be accessed in an emergency.
